Apple’s standard EULA
Your use of PureSteps is governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Read Apple’s standard EULA.
These terms add information that is specific to PureSteps.
About PureSteps
PureSteps is a step counter for iPhone and Apple Watch. It shows the numbers from Apple Health, with iPhone and Apple Watch combined exactly like the Health app does.
These terms are between you and AMIT Solutions, a sole proprietorship of Abdifatah Mohamud, Distlerstraat 3, 5011 EW Tilburg, the Netherlands, Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 90986652, VAT number NL004857373B64 (“the developer”). Under Article 30 of the EU Digital Services Act, the developer identifies as a trader towards EU consumers; this is the trader information published on the App Store and on this website. Free and Pro
PureSteps is free to use, without an account. PureSteps Pro is optional and unlocks additional features: full history, records and trends, all widgets (including the Lock Screen), Apple Watch complications, Live Activity and Dynamic Island during walks, streak freezes (2 per month), 12 themes and 13 app icons, and monthly and yearly Wrapped.
Pro is available as:
- Yearly: €24.99 per year, including a 7-day free trial
- Monthly: €4.99 per month
The price that applies is the one the App Store shows before you confirm a purchase; it can differ per country and over time. Pro supports Family Sharing. Purchases are processed by Apple.
Subscriptions and free trial
- Automatic renewal. Yearly and monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Payment. Payments are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account.
- Free trial. The 7-day free trial comes with the yearly subscription. It converts to a paid yearly subscription at the yearly price shown before you started the trial, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings Your name Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- Family Sharing. PureSteps Pro supports Family Sharing, so you can share it with your Family Sharing group.
- Restoring purchases. You can restore earlier purchases in the app: Settings tab Restore purchases.
- Refunds. Apple handles refunds, including the 14-day right of withdrawal that consumers in the EU have for digital purchases: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Friends: rules of conduct
Friends is optional and uses Sign in with Apple. Friends is for people aged 16 or over. By joining you agree to these rules: choose a display name and challenge titles that are not offensive, misleading or someone else’s name; do not add steps by hand to cheat (they do not count anyway); do not harass others.
Objectionable content and abusive users are not tolerated: you can report a person or a challenge in the app or by email, the developer reviews reports normally within two working days and may remove names, challenges or accounts that break these rules without notice. You can block anyone; blocking is permanent.
Health information
PureSteps is not a medical device. The numbers in PureSteps come from Apple Health. PureSteps does not provide medical advice. Consult a doctor before starting an exercise program.
Liability
The developer’s liability for damage arising from your use of PureSteps is limited to the extent permitted by law. This does not affect any rights you have by law that cannot be limited or excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you where you live are not affected.
Changes to these terms
The developer may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date.
